Privacy Policy

Effective April 28, 2026. The short version: we collect just enough to help you book a session, and we don't share it with anyone.

1. What we collect

When you fill out the booking form or text Mike directly, you may share:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Any message you choose to send (questions, goals, scheduling preferences)

The site itself doesn't collect any other information about you. There are no tracking cookies, no advertising pixels, no third-party analytics scripts running in the background. If you load a page and don't fill out the form or text Mike, we have no record that you visited.

2. How we use what we collect

The information you share is used solely to:

  • Reply to your inquiry
  • Schedule and coordinate training sessions
  • Send session reminders or follow-ups
  • Process payment for sessions you book

We do not use your information for marketing to anyone other than you, and we do not send promotional messages without your consent.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. The only circumstances in which your information might be disclosed:

  • Payment processors (Venmo, Zelle, etc.) when you pay for a session — your information is shared with them only as required to complete the transaction, and they have their own privacy policies.
  • Legal requirements — if disclosure is required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.

4. Cookies and tracking

This site does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. Your browser may store a small amount of session data (e.g. when you submit the booking form), but no persistent tracking takes place. You will not see a cookie consent banner here because there's nothing to consent to.

5. Data security

The booking form transmits your information over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Information shared via text message is stored on Mike's phone and protected by his device security. We do not maintain a separate customer database; client information lives in Mike's contacts and scheduling notes.

6. Children's privacy

Our services are intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If a parent or guardian is booking sessions for a child, the parent or guardian's information is collected, not the child's.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what information we have about you
  • Correct any inaccurate information
  • Delete your information from our records

Send the request by texting Mike or using the contact methods on the Schedule page. We'll act on reasonable requests within 30 days.

8. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or services evolve (for example, if we add analytics down the road). Updates will be posted here, with the “effective” date at the top reflecting the most recent change.

9. Contact

Questions or concerns? Reach out via the Schedule page or text Mike directly.

This policy reflects 2nd Wind Gym's actual data practices as a small in-home personal training business. If Mike adopts analytics, an email newsletter, or other tools that change the data picture, this policy should be updated accordingly. Privacy laws vary by state; review with an attorney if you have specific compliance concerns.
